In September 2021, a collection of railway facilities along the Tadami Line, including its bridges, was designated as a "Recommended Civil Engineering Heritage" by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE). This recognition highlights these structures as significant examples of civil engineering and architecture that should be preserved for future generations.
To commemorate the designation, an online lecture was held on February 23, 2022.
The video highlights the fascinating features of the Tadami Line’s railway facilities. We invite you to watch and discover what makes them so special.
