A low mountain located behind Tadami Station, where you can enjoy casual trekking from the mountain opening on the second Sunday of May through autumn. The round trip takes about three hours, and with advance reservations, you can also hike together with a guide.

The museum features videos, panels, animal specimens, and collections of insects and plants that introduce the rich natural environment of the Tadami area, which was the first region in Tohoku to be registered as a UNESCO Eco Park. It also displays traditional tools used in everyday life in snowy regions. Free guided tours of the facility are available upon request.

This shrine is known as a place for matchmaking and enshrines a unique rock formation as its sacred object. Each of the three rocks is said to bring different blessings, and it is believed that hanging a five-yen coin will attract good relationships. Along the approximately 40-minute round-trip walking course, you can also see Himesayuri lilies in early summer.

A confectionery shop known for its simple, rustic sweets, including the highly popular “Soboro Bread” and “Brown Rice Bread,” which are so well loved that locals often buy them in bulk. In summer, the coffee-flavored shake is especially recommended.
