This Western-style building with a storehouse construction was built in 1884. The building is the former Kaiyo Hospital, where Hideyo Noguchi underwent surgery on his burned hand. The first floor is a cafe, and the second floor is a museum.

Tsuruga Castle, the symbol of Aizu-Wakamatsu City. It features the only red-tiled castle tower in Japan, and the museum inside the tower allows you to learn about the history of Aizu.

This Japanese garden, designated as a Place of Scenic Beauty, has been admired by generations of Aizu lords. It is said to have originated around 600 years ago in the Muromachi period when the lord of Aizu built a villa on this site where a sacred spring gushed forth.
