Said to have been established 1,200 years ago, this is one of the most famous medicinal hot springs in the country, and has long been popular with many people as a spa resort. "Tsuru-no-yu," where the legend remains that a white crane healed its wounds in the hot spring, also has lodging facilities and a restaurant for spa treatment guests.
