“Tadami Line Art Contest” Commemorating the 1st Anniversary of the Full Line Reopening

To commemorate the first anniversary of the full reopening of the Tadami Line, the Tadami River Line Tourism Association will hold the “Tadami Line Art Contest.”
We look forward to receiving many submissions.

Application Details

Paintings featuring motifs such as Tadami Line station buildings, trains, views from the train windows, and scenery along the railway line.

Application Period

July 7, 2023 (Fri) – September 8, 2023 (Fri)
All entries must arrive by the final day.

Eligibility

Open to everyone.

Categories

1. Elementary School Division
2. Junior High School Division
3. General Division (High School Students and Above)

Submission Guidelines (Applicable to All Categories)

1. Size: Up to four-cut drawing paper (approximately 395 × 546 mm).
2. Materials: Any medium is acceptable.
3. Notes
   • Each person may submit only one artwork.
   • The copyright and usage rights of submitted works shall belong to the Tadami River Line Tourism Association. The Association reserves the right to publish, present, exhibit, print, and distribute the works free of charge without obtaining prior consent from the applicant.
   • Works that have previously won awards in other contests, or are currently submitted to other contests, are not eligible for entry.
   • Any personal information provided in the application will be used only to the extent necessary for the contest.
   • We will not accept any objections regarding the judging results or related matters.
   • Submitted works will be returned. (Depending on the number of entries, you may be asked to pick up your artwork in person.)

How to Apply

Please fill in the required information on the application form. Attach one copy to the upper right corner on the back of your artwork, and submit the other copy together with your artwork.

Awards

Grand Prize: One winner in each category – Okuaizu specialty products worth 5,000 yen.

Excellence Award: Two winners in each category – Okuaizu specialty products worth 3,000 yen.

Selected Award: Three winners in each category – Okuaizu specialty products worth 1,000 yen.

Announcement

Early October 2023 – Winners will be notified directly.

Exhibition

1. Period: From mid-October to late November 2023
2. Location: Tadami Town, Kaneyama Town, Mishima Town, Showa Village, and Yanaizu Town
   • The exhibition is scheduled to tour the five locations listed above.
     Detailed dates and venues will be announced in early October on the official websites of each municipality and through other channels.
   • Due to unforeseen circumstances, the exhibition schedule and details may be changed or canceled.
