    Experience a journey beyond time and space into Japan's unspoiled landscapes aboard the revived "ferry crossing," enveloped in mystical river mist. The quaint "rowboat ferry" and the seasonal scenery viewed from the surface of the Tadami River have garnered attention and are now featured in numerous media outlets. Enjoy a rowboat ride with a boatman's guidance and a walk around the area (duration: about 1.5 hours).

  • Hayato Onsen “Tsuru-no-Yu” (Therapeutic Bath Building & Dining Area)

    Said to have been established 1,200 years ago, this is one of the most famous medicinal hot springs in the country, and has long been popular with many people as a spa resort. "Tsuru-no-yu," where the legend remains that a white crane healed its wounds in the hot spring, also has lodging facilities and a restaurant for spa treatment guests. (Free shuttle service from Hayato Station to match train arrival times. *Advance reservation required)

    A café located next to Tsuru-no-Yu, perfect for relaxing after a hot spring bath. From the log house built with local timber, you can enjoy views of the Tadami River. The café’s specialties include galettes, pasta, and sweets made with buckwheat flour from Oku-Aizu.
