    Toshima Viewpoint

    The Toshima settlement lies on the opposite bank of the Tadami River as seen from the Tadami Line. Shaped like a small island, the shrine within the settlement serves as a scenic viewpoint. From there, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Tadami River and the Shiozawa settlement, making it a recommended spot for photography.

  • Tsuginosuke Kawai Memorial Museum

    Tsuginosuke Kawai Memorial Museum

    A museum dedicated to Tsuginosuke Kawai, chief retainer of the Nagaoka Domain, who died in Shiozawa while traveling from Nagaoka to Aizu during the Boshin War. The “Room of His Final Moments,” preserved through the sentiments of local residents, has been relocated and reconstructed inside the museum.

    Aizu-Shiozawa Station

    A mural painted at Aizu-Shiozawa Station inspired by the film “Youth 18×2: The Road That Leads to You,” which is set in Tadami Town. It was created by Rumi Yoshida, the artist who was responsible for the artwork in the film. Titled “The Scenery of Tadami Town as Seen by Ami, Vol. 1,” this large-scale artwork features a gentle, warm style that evokes memories of the movie mural.
