  Nakata Kannon (Kouanji Temple)

  This is the 30th temple of the Aizu 33 Kannon Pilgrimage. The Kannon-do hall has a 'hug pillar,' and it is said that if a person with faith hugs the pillar, their wish will be granted. It is also known as one of the 'Aizu Korori Three Kannon,' and is affectionately called 'Nakata no Kannon-sama'.
