In April 2024, the Aizu-Yanazu Station building in Yanazu Town was reopened as the “Yanazu Town Aizu-Yanazu Station Information and Exchange Center.”
To encourage greater familiarity and active use among local residents and visitors, and to contribute to regional revitalization, the town invited the public to submit ideas for an official nickname for the facility.
A total of 132 entries were received from across the country.
Following a review by the selection committee, the nickname “Aibeko” has been officially chosen.
