**\ The Tadami Line Story: Told Through Your Perspective / **
The "Tadami Line Area Video Contest" has officially begun! We are looking for videos that showcase the charm of the region, such as "Your favorite scenery from the Tadami Line" or "Local gourmet food along the tracks."
Winners will receive special local products from Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures. We will also be promoting this campaign at the joint Niigata-Fukushima booth during the Tadami Furusato Snow Festival (held Feb 8–9), so please come and visit us!

[ Application Guidelines ]
1. Campaign Name
Tadami Line "Area" Video Contest
2. Theme
Videos that showcase the charm of the Tadami Line and its surrounding regions (scenery, local food, tourist attractions, cultural assets, local people, your passion for the Tadami Line, creative humor/parodies, etc.).
3. Submission Period
Tuesday, January 28, 2025 – Monday, March 10, 2025
4. Eligibility
A video between 15 and 60 seconds long, filmed by the applicant.
5. Eligibility
Applicants must reside in Japan and have a shipping address within Japan.
(Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before applying.)
6. How to Apply
Submitting your entry:
1. Follow both Instagram accounts: "Uonu Magical (@uonu_magical)" and "Tadami Line Portal Site (@tadamiline.portal)."
2. Post the video from your own account with a title and the hashtag #只見線界隈.
*Note: Do not include quotation marks in the hashtag.
◆ Number of Entries: You may enter as many times as you like; however, only one winning entry will be selected per person.
7. Selection of Winners
Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures will judge the entries based on the following criteria to select 10 winning works:
・Relevance to the theme: Does the video effectively convey the charm of the Tadami Line and its surrounding region to the viewer?
・Quality: Is the composition, direction, and overall presentation excellent and memorable?
8. Announcement of Winners
The winners will be announced on the "Uonu Magical" and "Tadami Line Portal Site."
*Note: The winning entries and the account names of the winners will be published.
9. Prizes
Specialties from Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures
Tadami Line "Area" Award: Equivalent to 10,000 yen
Niigata Award: Equivalent to 8,000 yen
Fukushima Award: Equivalent to 8,000 yen
Runners-up (7 entries): Equivalent to 3,000 yen each
10. Usage of Submitted Works
Applicants shall grant Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures permission to use their submitted videos for tourism promotion and other PR activities related to the Tadami Line region. Please note that applicants will not be individually contacted prior to such use.
11. Campaign Secretariat and Handling of Personal Information
This campaign is organized by Niigata Prefecture, co-organized by Fukushima Prefecture, and managed by the Secretariat: Shitamichi HD Co., Ltd. Applicants' personal information will be used solely for the purpose of shipping prizes.
12. Important Notes
◆Accounts set to "Private" are not eligible for the contest.
◆Entries will be disqualified if the applicant deletes their Instagram account or unfollows the official accounts before prizes are sent. Please do not change your account name during the campaign period.
◆Entries that include content contrary to public order and morals, or are deemed inappropriate by the secretariat, will be excluded from selection. Please note that we cannot respond to inquiries regarding the reasons for exclusion.
◆This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
◆Applicants must obtain all necessary permissions regarding portrait rights and copyrights of subjects in their videos. The organizers and secretariat assume no responsibility for disputes related to these rights. Any such issues must be resolved by the applicant at their own expense.
◆Prizes cannot be exchanged, converted to cash, returned, or transferred (including resale) to others.
◆Applicants are responsible for all internet connection and data communication fees.
